The Director of Business Development plays an essential role in the growth of HC3 by leading, managing, and holding the Business Development team accountable for increasing company revenue and coordinating with our partner relationships to drive revenue. By providing overall direction and coaching support to the sales team, this position directly impacts the size of the company's client base and, in turn, the company's overall revenue.

  • Provide general Leadership, Management, and Accountability (LMA) for the Business Development team.
  • Implement and execute an effective opportunity strategy.
  • Stay informed about industry knowledge, competition, and HC3 products and solutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree in sales or related field
  • 10+ years of professional sales experience in financial services, core, or fintech
  • Experience coaching business development teams and/or leadership coaching
  • Experience managing pipeline and tracking activity via CRM tool
  • Basic computer skills

  • Leadership and Team Development: Leads teams with actionable plans and monitors performance.
  • Sales certification or experience with Jobs To Be Done methodology
  • Familiarity with Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft business applications
  • Experience working at a financial institution
