About The Position

As Director of Business Development, you drive sustainable and predictable growth by leading the full business development lifecycle—from opportunity identification to deal closure—while ensuring strong pipeline quality and forecast accuracy. You lead and develop a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to generate consistent, high-quality pipeline and act as a trusted advisor to senior executives by translating customer needs into clear, measurable business value.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years leading complex Business Development Teams.
  • Strong hands-on experience with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC Sales Methodology.
  • Proven success in enterprise business development or sales within consulting, technology, or professional services
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Experience leading and developing BDR or sales development teams
  • Ability to articulate and quantify business value for senior decision-makers
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong ownership of pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM-driven sales execution

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the business development strategy aligned with company growth objectives
  • Build, manage, and forecast a healthy, high-quality sales pipeline
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of BDRs with clear KPIs and performance standards
  • Engage C-level stakeholders to understand priorities, decision processes, and economic impact
  • Lead discovery, proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations
  • Partner with marketing, consulting, and delivery teams to ensure strong solution alignment
  • Monitor market and competitive trends to continuously refine go-to-market strategy
  • Represent Gravity with clients, at executive briefings, and industry events
