The Director of Business Development is responsible for generating and growing new client relationships for Charity Search Group through a combination of trusted relationships, modern outbound outreach, and consultative engagement. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role focuses on opportunity development—not transactional sales. The Director will engage Executive Directors, CEOs, Board members, and senior development leaders in thoughtful conversations about leadership hiring needs, organizational risk, and long-term talent strategy. This is a part-time, senior-level role well suited for someone with deep nonprofit fluency who understands how nonprofit leaders make decisions and values credibility, discretion, and relationship-building over volume-driven sales.
