JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Business Development is responsible for the strategy, growth, and long-term success of Century’s partnership ecosystem. This role drives the development, execution, and optimization of high-impact partner relationships that drive sustainable revenue growth, lead generation, and brand expansion. This position owns partner strategy, lead source development, and relationship governance, ensuring all partnerships align with Century’s growth objectives, compliance standards, and customer-first values. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking, executive-level relationship management, and operational discipline, with the ability to scale partnerships while mitigating risk.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to manage executive-level relationships and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Highly analytical, with experience using data to guide strategy and decision-making.
  • Proven success building and scaling revenue-driving partnerships and lead generation channels.
  • 5-7+ yearsof experience in strategic partnerships, business development, channel management, or related roles.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute theoverall partnership strategy, including identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing new lead sources and strategic partners aligned to Century’s growth goals.
  • Own thefull partnership lifecycle, from sourcing and onboarding through optimization, renewal, and expansion.
  • Developmulti-year account and growth plansfor key partners, focused on revenue contribution, lead quality, and long-term scalability.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners, buildingexecutive-level relationshipsthat position Century as a preferred, long-term partner.
  • Cultivate and nurturehigh-quality lead sources and referral partnerships, with a focus on volume, quality, and compliance.
  • Continuously assess lead performance, conversion trends, and partner ROI, adjusting strategy to maximize profitability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations leadership to ensureseamless lead flow, alignment, and optimizationacross the organization.
  • Establish and monitorKPIs, SLAs, and performance benchmarksto measure partner effectiveness and contribution to business outcomes.
  • Lead regular business reviews with partnersand stakeholders, delivering data-driveninsights,and strategic recommendations.
  • Identifyunderperforming relationships and proactively implement improvement plans orexit strategieswhen necessary.
  • Ensure all partnershipsoperatein full alignment withregulatory, compliance, and internal governance standards, particularly within lead generation and consumer protection requirements.
  • Partner closely withOperationsor Attorneysto review partner practices, marketingactivities, andongoingcomplianceadherence.
  • Implement standardized processes, documentation, and controls to support scalable and compliant partnership growth.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between partners and stakeholders, aligning Sales, Marketing,and Operations around sharedobjectives.
  • Influence senior leadership through clear reporting, insights, and recommendations on partnership performance and market opportunities.
  • Contribute to broadergrowth strategy, go-to-market planning, and organizational initiativesas a senior member of the team.
