The Director of Business Development - U.S. is a senior leader working closely with the Group Head Business Development and other senior management stakeholders to drive company growth through strategic partnerships, new market opportunities and revenue expansion. As a key bridge between sales, marketing, and product development, this leader plays a critical role in shaping the company's future in the U.S. and securing its competitive advantage for the orderbook and delivery of FNPPs. In today's fast-paced business landscape, this role embodies the implementation of the company’s vision and is the linchpin that connects innovation with revenue, and vision with execution.

  • 20+ years of professional commercial / business development work experience

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing long-term growth strategies that drive FNPP revenue expansion in the U.S.
  • Identifying new market opportunities and potential partnerships.
  • Analysing market trends and competitor activities to inform business decisions.
  • Developing and refining business cases for new initiatives and investments.
  • Thinking strategically, balancing short-term needs with long-term goals, and making data-driven decisions to drive growth.
  • Generating FNPP revenue in the U.S. through strategic partnerships, new business development, and longer-term sales leadership.
  • Setting and achieving revenue targets.
  • Developing contracting strategies and orderbook forecasts.
  • Possessing strong sales acumen, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships in the U.S. with key clients, partners, and stakeholders is critical to this role.
