THE JOB The Director of Business Development & Strategy serves as a strategic and operational extension of the VP, acting as a right-hand partner to drive growth, operational excellence, and brand evolution across the Foundation Room portfolio. This role bridges business strategy with premium hospitality execution—connecting the dots between sales, operations, marketing, and member experience to ensure consistency, accountability, and innovation across all markets.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Partner closely with the VP to define and execute the overarching vision and strategic roadmap for Foundation Room and related premium initiatives.
  • Operational Excellence: Audit and refine end-to-end processes across membership sales, onboarding, event programming, and day-to-day operations to drive efficiency, alignment, and profitability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Finance, VIP, Talent, and Membership) to deliver cohesive strategies that enhance both member experience and business performance.
  • Business Development: Identify, evaluate, and activate new business opportunities, brand partnerships, and experiential collaborations that drive incremental revenue and deepen member engagement.
  • Hospitality & Experience: Ensure every touchpoint within Foundation Room upholds the highest standards of premium hospitality—creating consistent, elevated experiences that reflect the brand’s culture and values.
  • Leadership & Culture: Act as a liaison between corporate leadership and field teams—building trust, alignment, and accountability while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
