Position Summary: Provides expertise in the formulation of systems scope and ob jectives relative to the business plan and industry requirements . Determines operational ob jectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats . Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems, such as production and inventory control systems, financial tracking systems, call center management and human resources systems. Works independently or as a member of a project t ea m responsible for providing technical guidance related to the business implications of the application of various systems . Devises and/or modifies procedures to solve technical pr ob lems related to computer equipment ca pa city and limitations, operating time and form of desired results . Cr ea tes detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business, functional, and non-functional requirements from stakeholders through various methods like interviews, workshops, and surveys. Studying and analyzing current business processes and workflows to identify ar ea s for improvement, optimization, and automation. Translating business requirements into technical specifications and designing effective and efficient system solutions that meet the identified needs. Acting as a bridge and fa cilitator between business stakeholders and the IT development t ea ms to ensure cl ea r communication and understanding of requirements and solutions. Developing and maintaining various system-related documents, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, use cases, process flows, and test plans. Collaborating with testing t ea ms to ensure that the developed systems meet the specified requirements and are free of defects through activities like reviewing test plans and pa rtici pa ting in user acceptance testing (UAT). Offering ongoing support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and developing and delivering training materials and sessions for new systems or system updates. Contributing to project planning, tracking progress, identifying risks, and communicating updates to project stakeholders, often working within project management methodologies.
