About The Position
The Director of Business Analytics & Innovation at The Middlesex Corporation will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's approach to business analytics, digital intelligence, technology, and innovation strategies. This position is crucial for driving the overall business results by identifying strategic opportunities, enhancing operational efficiency, and implementing innovative solutions. The Director will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business intelligence framework that aligns with the company's goals and objectives. This includes overseeing the deployment of data analytics tools and platforms, ensuring the analytics team delivers accurate and timely business insights, and maintaining data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations. In addition to these responsibilities, the Director will monitor industry trends and gather feedback from team members and clients to identify opportunities for innovation. This role requires a champion for the adoption of new technologies and methodologies that can save costs, increase efficiency, and enhance the company's competitive edge. The Director will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to identify business needs and drive continuous improvement in metrics tracking, information management, and organizational planning. Regular reporting on business analytics and innovation activities, including progress and return on investment (ROI), will be required to keep the General Manager and other stakeholders informed. The position is full-time and salaried, reporting directly to the General Manager. The successful candidate will be expected to uphold the company's core value of safety in all operations and contribute to a culture of excellence and integrity within the organization.
