About The Position

As the Director of Business Analysis for the K-12 Individual team at WorldStrides, you will serve as a strategic leader responsible for shaping data-driven decisions that drive enrollment growth, strengthen retention, and optimize marketing and sales performance. Reporting to our EVP for K-12 Individual Programs as a strategic collaborator, you will partner closely with senior leaders across Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Program Delivery to define priorities, translate insights into strategies, and ensure execution delivers measurable impact. This role requires not just analytical expertise, but an inquisitive mindset. The ideal candidate is relentlessly curious, actively seeks out answers, and challenges the status quo to uncover better ways of doing business. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing Analytics, or another quantitative field.
  • 7+ years of experience in business analytics, marketing/sales analytics, or strategy roles.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in a business or quantitative field (e.g., MBA, Economics, Statistics).
  • Prior experience in management consulting or a strategy leadership role.
  • Proven success in a customer-facing or growth-oriented business is a plus.
  • Experience leading or contributing to cross-functional transformation initiatives that require cross-departmental collaboration and a system-level approach to strategic planning.
  • Expertise in creating executive-ready narratives and presentations that shape decisions.
  • Proven track record of influencing senior executives and driving business outcomes through analytics.
  • Experience working with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Looker, Excel).
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, ideally with at least 3 years in a formal management capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the business analysis agenda for K-12 Individual Programs. Prioritize the most critical business questions and ensure delivery of actionable insights.
  • Partner with senior leadership to shape growth strategies, enrollment targets, and resource allocation.
  • Proactively explore new data sources and emerging trends. Anticipate opportunities or risks and translate them into strategies for marketing and sales.
  • Lead the measurement and optimization of direct mail, digital campaigns, and outbound sales performance.
  • Establish ROI frameworks and profitability models to guide investment decisions across marketing and sales channels.
  • Drive segmentation, targeting, and personalization strategies to maximize reach and conversion.
  • Create and deliver executive-level materials that tell the story of business performance. Use data, context, and narrative to drive alignment and influence strategic decisions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the K-12 Individual leadership team, bringing objectivity, analytical rigor, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Oversee the sequencing and execution of key initiatives, ensuring business intent translates into measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate across IT, Finance, Program Delivery, and Marketing to deliver analytics-enabled solutions and process improvements.
  • Champion the use of data as a strategic asset across the organization.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts. Build not only analytical and storytelling skills but also a culture of curiosity, continuous questioning, and improvement.
  • Foster an environment where the team feels empowered to challenge assumptions, test hypotheses, and pursue innovative approaches.
  • Actively engage in talent planning and succession efforts to grow future leaders.
