We are a multi-retail operator and vertically integrated cannabis company with multiple cultivation and manufacturing facilities, alongside a growing portfolio of cannabis brands. As we prepare to launch three new brands licensed to operators worldwide, we are seeking a Director of Brand & Creative to take full ownership of brand development—from concept to global rollout—while managing the daily creative, digital, and marketing needs of our organization. This is a high-impact leadership role for a strategic, hands-on creative who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and is passionate about building compelling, scalable brands in the cannabis industry. As the Director of Brand & Creative, you will lead the development, launch, and growth of multiple cannabis brands, ensuring each is built for scalability, licensing, and consumer impact. You will oversee packaging design, brand identity, marketing strategy, licensing assets, website development, and creative execution across retail, digital, and wholesale channels. You will manage a team of designers, marketers, and outside agencies, driving alignment between creative, operations, and business strategy. Your vision, leadership, and execution will define the visual and narrative identity of our brands, ensuring we remain at the forefront of cannabis culture and consumer trends.

  • Lead the creation, launch, and growth of three new cannabis brands, with additional brands planned for the future.
  • Build scalable brand guidelines and packaging systems to support licensing in global markets.
  • Hire, manage, and mentor designers, copywriters, and creative team members.
  • Ensure packaging and branding meet regulatory compliance requirements while remaining visually compelling.
  • Develop licensing decks, sales materials, and brand books to support partnerships worldwide.
  • Oversee all packaging, product design, and brand storytelling across multiple brands.
  • Maintain consistent brand identity across digital, retail, and wholesale channels.
  • Monitor industry trends, design innovations, and consumer insights to keep brands competitive and culturally relevant.
  • Collaborate closely with retail operations to align branding, promotions, product launches, and offers.
  • Ensure all campaigns, signage, web content, and marketing materials are integrated across digital and traditional channels.
  • Support day-to-day creative needs across retail, cultivation, manufacturing, and brand operations.
  • Manage the creative team’s workflow, priorities, and accountability.
  • Recruit, hire, and oversee designers, marketers, and outside agencies.
  • Oversee budgets, project timelines, and vendor relationships for creative and digital projects.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting to the Owner / CEO on brand initiatives and team performance.
  • 5+ years in creative direction, brand management, or marketing leadership (cannabis industry experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven experience launching consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands, ideally in regulated industries.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand creation, packaging, marketing campaigns, and digital projects.
  • Hands-on experience with website development and management (e-commerce platforms, UX/UI optimization).
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to juggle multiple brand launches simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and mentorship abilities; thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
  • Knowledge of cannabis compliance regulations (packaging, labeling, advertising) is a plus.
