About The Position

Monmouth University is seeking a Director of Basketball Operations for the Women's Basketball program. This role involves overseeing all managerial aspects related to practice and game preparations, team travel logistics, and community service projects. The Director will also assist in marketing efforts and manage social media platforms, ensuring a comprehensive approach to the program's operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
• Understanding of the importance of academics alongside athletic excellence.
• Experience in college basketball coaching, recruiting, administrative roles, or playing experience.
• Valid driver's license with no serious violations in the past five years and limited moving violations.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the Synergy Sports Tech system.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Sports Code.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of practice and game preparations for the Women's Basketball team.
• Coordinate team travel arrangements including airline, bus, hotel, and food reservations.
• Organize practice times and travel itineraries for the team.
• Participate in campus and community service projects.
• Assist in marketing plans for the Women's Basketball program.
• Maintain and update social media sites related to the program.
