About The Position
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Director of Audit in Floral Park, NY. This role involves developing and leading the organization's internal audit strategy and annual audit plan, supervising and managing audit teams, and conducting risk assessments to identify key areas for audit focus. The Director will review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, processes, and procedures, and coordinate the execution of financial, operational, and compliance audits. Additionally, the Director will communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior leadership and the audit committee, monitor the implementation of corrective actions, and stay informed of industry trends and regulatory changes. The position also requires serving as a liaison with external auditors and regulatory bodies, while promoting a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
