About The Position

Seeking a Director of AV Services to join the Stagedge team!  This role will manage AV Services for a downtown Worcester Property and involves managing the audio-visual operation and team ensuring exceptional customer service for the property and client.   This role is responsible for providing AV services for all hotel client events / meetings. This role will work closely with the hotel sales/events team, attend regular meetings and present capabilities and provide support as needed during the sales process to ensure clear expectations and scope of work for each client’s meeting. Must have Strong Customer Service Skills and ability to maintain strong relationships with the hotel’s sales and events team and clients. Strong communication skills and the ability to direct and manage an onsite team for larger hotel events. Will be responsible for preparing quotes, reconciling, and submitting final billing for the hotel. Demonstrated experience managing and training AV Technicians. Responsible to forecast upcoming projects and ensure that labor positions are requested and filled through the corporate office;  and equipment resources are ordered through the corporate office to supplement the on-site inventory. Job requires lifting over 50lbs without restrictions. Hours may require some night and weekend work.   The ideal candidate will be dependable and flexible, work well under pressure and adapt easily to last minute changes. Candidates must have 3-5 years prior experience working and managing AV Services at an in-house property; possess general technical experience for daily audio-visual equipment setup/operation and be the point of contact for hotel clients.
