About The Position
Ferrum College is seeking a dynamic, visionary, and relationship-driven Director of Alumni and Family Relations. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of alumni engagement at a college where tradition, pride, and Panther spirit run deep. Reporting to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement, the Director of Alumni and Family Relations is a member of the Institutional Advancement team and will build and strengthen life-long relationships, pride and investment in Ferrum College's mission and future. Through the development of innovative engagement strategies, including targeted programming, events, volunteer relations and communications, this individual will generate belonging, provide mutually beneficial programs and advance the branding and priorities of the College. This is a highly visible position on and off campus that requires close collaboration with campus partners and with the Alumni Association's Board of Directors, while at the same time working independently to conceptualize, develop, implement and execute engagement initiatives.
