About The Position

Directs the administration of the Alternative Education program. Responsible for student placement, academic progress monitoring, and ensuring program compliance with state standards.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Education or Administration.
  • Valid Oklahoma Standard Secondary Principal Certificate.
  • 3+ years of experience in secondary education

Nice To Haves

  • specific experience with at-risk youth or non-traditional programs preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily site operations, including student intake, attendance monitoring, and graduation tracking.
  • Manage digital and blended learning curricula
  • Supervise certified and support personnel within the program.
  • Manage the program budget, including the procurement of instructional materials and technology.
  • Implement disciplinary strategies and coordinate with school counselors for student mental health support.
  • Maintain accurate records for state reporting, including enrollment, credit completion, and post-secondary transitions.
