About The Position

Red Ventures Home empowers partners through a unique blend of high-scale proprietary distribution, data models, AI-enabled applications, and strategic client partnerships. We help our clients unlock significant and sustainable growth across the home services ecosystem, ranging from telecom and security to energy and home automation. As a Red Ventures company, we have more than 20 years of experience building strategic, long-standing relationships with some of the world’s most powerful brands across industries like financial services, retail, real estate, and entertainment. We are seeking a Director of AI Product Management to lead product and delivery for one of our sub-industries inside of Home. Our product organization is responsible for transforming our internal and clients’ customer acquisition, retention, and operations through applications of AI and ML. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for building, optimizing, and scaling innovative, AI-driven products that address core customer and partner challenges, ensuring we deliver measurable and sustained business value. You will partner closely with cross-functional leaders to define the vision for your portfolio, establishing the “what” and “why” behind major product decisions. Working through your downline, you will then translate this direction into the “how,” ensuring teams operate with clarity, focus, and alignment to strategic goals. This role requires a leader who can move fluidly between strategic direction-setting and hands-on product leadership. You will evaluate and prioritize initiatives across the portfolio, make informed trade-offs based on feasibility and business value, while deeply understanding your numbers and operations, ensuring that performance and impact are well documented and used to guide ongoing decision-making. This role will have the opportunity to shape and influence the organization at multiple levels. You will serve as a leader of managers, empowering product managers to operate autonomously, developing their product and technical skill sets, and building a strong talent pipeline for the future. You will partner closely with internal and external partners to ideate solutions, navigate trade-offs, and align on the decisions needed to move the portfolio forward. You will set high standards for product excellence across the broader organization and establish clarity on what “good” looks like in technical execution, analytical rigor, and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Commercial alignment: You bring an entrepreneurial mindset paired with strong commercial instincts, identifying where value can be unlocked across the portfolio and shaping strategic bets that meaningfully advance customer and business outcomes.
  • Systems thinker: You understand how teams, workflows, incentives, and technology interact across an organization, enabling you to diagnose bottlenecks, redesign processes, and scale patterns that drive better outcomes.
  • Relationship-driven: You build durable relationships with internal leaders and external counterparts understanding their motivations and needs, and using these partnerships to shape decisions and accelerate impact.
  • Innovator: You define the playbook vs relying on others to create it for you.
  • 0→1 delivery: Demonstrated success leading new products from zero to launch, shaping the vision, setting direction, and driving execution in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Built from experience: You have been in the code, run analyses, and optimized real-world AI systems, which enables you to lead from a place of practical experience rather than abstraction.
  • Shipping with complex partners: Experience bringing products to market in environments involving clients, B2B partners, or internal teams, aligning roadmaps, managing integrations, and ensuring successful delivery across organizational boundaries.
  • Leading and developing managers: Experience managing and growing product managers, providing hands-on coaching, setting performance expectations, and building a high-performing, accountable team.

Responsibilities

  • Own the portfolio outcomes: Drive measurable impact across a suite of AI transformation initiatives, overseeing portfolio budgets, defining resources and costs to meet objectives, and securing leadership alignment on investment decisions. Serve as the key point of accountability for performance, ROI, and subsequent investments.
  • Shape strategy with clients: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer needs, frame problems, co-design solutions, and translate those insights into a clear portfolio strategy that identifies where we can unlock value.
  • Guide execution and decisions: Establish operating rhythms, decision frameworks, and delivery practices that enable your teams to execute effectively. Evaluate trade-offs across initiatives using data, P&L impact, feasibility, and sequencing to determine where to focus and how to allocate resources, objectively assessing the ongoing strategy and operating model.
  • Develop leaders: Lead and develop a highly accountable team of product managers by working hands-on with them, providing direct guidance on their work, and supporting their growth as leaders.
  • Anticipate and foster innovation: Bring a forward-looking perspective on emerging technologies and AI/ML capabilities, understanding how they may reshape customer needs and solution approaches. Promote a culture of experimentation, supporting teams as they explore and deliver innovative ideas, with you leading by example.
