About The Position

The Director of Advancement and Development is a strategic leader responsible for the overall planning and management of the schools?development, marketing, and constituent relations. This role is essential for ensuring the long-term sustainability of the school by cultivating a culture of philanthropy and increasing engagement among?alumni, parents, and the local community.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in a related field (Business, Marketing, or Communications) is required.
• 35 years of professional experience in?fundraising or major gift cultivation?is preferred.
• Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with a strong understanding of?Catholic teachings.
• Successful completion of a?FDLE Level II Criminal Background Screening?and?Safe Environment Training?is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead all?fundraising efforts, including annual appeals, major gifts, capital campaigns, and grant writing.
• Coordinate Volunteers: Schedule and match school family volunteers to the needs of the school and parish community.
• Plan and execute signature fundraising events.
• Collaborate with school leadership to develop?marketing strategies?that attract and retain mission-aligned families.
• Serve as a witness to?Gospel values, ensuring all advancement activities reflect the teachings of the Catholic Church.
• Oversee?donor records?and financial reporting of gifts and pledges.
