SUMMARY: The Director of Outpatient Admissions is responsible for 24/7 management of the Outpatient Admissions Department. Creates, implements, and analyzes essential functions of Outpatient Admissions Department to ensure that maximum census is attained in each program. The Director provides training and support for the day-to-day operations of the Outpatient Admissions Department to ensure appropriate and timely admission to substance use disorder and mental health treatment programs. This position will oversee workflow studies to evaluate effectiveness of existing processes and make recommendations to improve productivity. The Outpatient Admissions Director will develop and maintain constructive relationships with referral parties, managed care organizations, and the community at large to maximize admissions to Gosnold programs. The Director will have a working knowledge of inpatient admissions workflows, systems, and regulatory requirements. The Director will provide oversight and support to the Inpatient Admissions Department through participation in the rotating on-call schedule and on an as-needed basis to ensure continuity, consistency, and quality across all points of access.
