About The Position

As Director of Admissions & Marketing (DAM), you’ll be the member of the school Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with prime responsibility for driving student enrolment. You’ll do this by ensuring families receive an exceptional experience at each stage of their journey with our school - from awareness and consideration, through to enrolment and advocacy. We call this our Family Experience Journey, and everything we do in MAC (Marketing, Admissions and Communications) evolves around this. To deliver an exceptional family experience every time, you’ll need to forge great relationships with colleagues from across the school, so that everyone is working together to achieve our vision. As an exceptional leader of people, you’ll coach and develop the commercial, creative, and customer-orientated skills of your team, and be a consummate ambassador for the school brand. As a DAM, you’ll also play a pivotal role in building the school community and reputation.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in brand-building, sales, and/or marketing roles.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with a history of effectively managing and mentoring teams.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • A data-oriented approach with experience in data collection and analysis.

  • Experience in service delivery contexts.
  • Ability to coordinate resources and lead initiatives to successful implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Senior Leadership and Regional Office colleagues to set the strategic MAC direction for the school.
  • Manage the MAC budget to deliver maximum value.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the market, competitors, and audiences.
  • Oversee data integrity through CRM and compliance with group data rules.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting for the year(s) ahead.
  • Stay up to date with new trends and developments in sales, marketing and communications.
  • Develop the school’s brand positioning to drive greatest enrolment.
  • Focus activity on driving enquiries and converting those enquiries through to enrolment.
  • Ensure re-enrolment numbers are maximized through a fantastic in-school MAC experience.
  • Analyze data to test and learn from the school’s brand, communications, enrolment, and marketing activities.
  • Use Salesforce (CRM) to manage the enrolment pipeline and ensure user adoption.
  • Track team performance through CRM and other KPI metrics.
  • Advise the school Senior Leadership Team on market research interpretation and guide action plans.
  • Lead the development and execution of best practices throughout the Family Experience Journey.
  • Ensure every family receives a highly personalized visit experience.
  • Ensure a seamless digital experience for families.
  • Recruit and develop a school MAC team, coaching them to aim for high standards.
  • Put creativity at the heart of MAC activities.
  • Ensure adherence to school Visual Identity and Tone of Voice guidelines.
  • Define a distinctive and consistent brand for the school.
  • Lead the development and execution of the school’s brand framework.
  • Create and oversee improvements in communication with parents, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Develop external networks to build awareness of the school.
