About The Position

Do you want to make a difference in our patients’ and residents’ lives and have fun? Chase City Health & Rehab, is looking for a dynamic Activities Director Assistant to develop, plan, and lead entertaining and enriching activities. What is my primary role? Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Therapeutic recreation specialist certification or eligible activities professional
• A caring heart and desire to make a difference
• Experience directing individual and group activities preferred
• CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) preferred
• A valid Virginia driver’s license and Virginia CDL driver’s license, if applicable

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and encourage participation in fun and enriching activities
• Plan community outings for the patients and residents
• Build and lead the activities team including assistants, volunteers, and students
• Develop caring relationships
