About The Position
The Director, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting will be responsible for addressing technical accounting issues from the business including research and implementation of new pronouncements and review and update of policies and procedures. Candidate must be comfortable and have deep expertise in a broad area of complex accounting issues relative to the Technology / SaaS industry including revenue recognition, debt, investments, business combinations, consolidation and variable interest entities, goodwill, stock-based compensation, and all other general areas of accounting and related disclosure. Furthermore, the Director will be responsible for the preparation and drafting of consolidated financial statements, interim and annual reports for external reporting to our investors and stakeholders and supporting our strategic transactional activities. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and have exceptional technical strength that can provide proactive guidance and leadership on accounting, disclosures and financial reporting. This position will interact with all levels of the organization and will serve as a valuable resource for accounting, finance, legal and other key business partners. Additionally, the successful candidate must have the ability to build relationships at all levels within the organization and demonstrate the ability to present complex technical accounting matters to leadership in a manner that is easy to understand. We are looking for a CPA with strong analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Strong business acumen and the ability to influence change through written and verbal communications are imperative.
