About The Position

We're seeking a Director of Accounting to lead financial reporting, analysis, and controllership functions across multiple operating facilities. This role will oversee the close process, drive operational and financial insights, and partner closely with leadership on strategy, budgeting, and process improvements. The position reports directly to the Chief Accounting Officer and plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial performance, compliance, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, audit, finance, or controllership.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Advanced Excel skills; NetSuite experience a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement mindset.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process across multiple facilities.
• Analyze financial results, KPIs, and trends to support decision-making, profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with operations leadership on strategic initiatives, capital projects, and performance reviews.
• Prepare executive-level summaries, presentations, and board meeting materials.
• Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure transactions are properly recorded under US GAAP.
• Support annual budget creation and quarterly forecasting.
• Oversee allocation processes, intercompany transactions, and cost tracking.
