The Academic Resource Team works collaboratively with students, faculty, families, division leadership, and outside providers to develop personalized support plans and services for students PS-Grade 12. This integrated, high-touch model is driven by our team of 14 Learning Coaches/Academic Resource Coordinators and overseen by the Director of Academic Resource Services, who advises teams and provides support from the Mount Vernon admissions process when a family is applying to attend Mount Vernon, through their academic journey, and all the way through the college admissions process. The Director of Academic Resource Services serves as a strategic leader and educational consultant, partnering with students, families, and faculty to design and deliver inclusive, research-based academic supports across Preschool–Grade 12. This role oversees systems and programs that ensure equitable access to learning, early intervention, and compliance with state and national requirements. The Director also plays a key leadership role in admissions, professional learning, and cross-divisional collaboration to support student growth and long-term success.
