The Director of Academic Advising provides informed, strategic leadership for the Georgia College & State University Academic Advising Center, which serves approximately 6,000 traditional, residential undergraduate students in over 30 major programs. The director leads a team consisting of an assistant director, four lead advisors, and 18-20 professional advisors in the implementation of comprehensive, evidence-based advising methods and programs to increase student success, retention, progression, and graduation. This is a twelve-month, full-time, on-campus position. The director reports to the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management and University Registrar.
