The Director, O+O Acceleration will be responsible for developing and driving our omnichannel strategy across L'Oréal USA brands with an emphasis on the mass channel, data-driven insights, and digital/ecommerce activations. This role will provide leadership and direction to brands on all aspects of the business; effectively managing capabilities & vision, performance tools & dashboards, vendors and best-in- class strategies for L'Oréal USA (LUSA). The Director must be a self-starter who can work well across multiple teams and stakeholders. This role requires strong communication and presentation skills, comfort with analyzing data, and ability to manage competing priorities. The ideal candidate is a deep commercial and ecommerce expert, with experience working with Walmart, Mass or other eRetail accounts.

Requirements

  • 8 to 10 years of progressive experience managing business-to-consumer eCommerce or Omni execution
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong eCommerce CPG/Retail background and thorough understanding of how to answer business questions/challenges through data with clear sense of the value added.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a customer P&L and successfully building promotional plans
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication/presentation skills; ability to influence senior levels
  • Strong bias for action and seeing things through to completion and business application.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a rigorous timeline.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Passion for making concrete business impacts
  • Demonstrated experience with running complex projects across a matrixed organization
  • Budget management, project management, vendor management
  • Deep Experience working on the Walmart business
  • Strong ability to problem solve using data

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance, vision & and best practices to brands
  • Drive innovation for unique LUSA point of view in eCommerce. O+O business and channel development.
  • Establish and maintain channel KPIs, centralized reporting and automation of data.
  • Provide point of view on key topics, facilitate thought leadership and sharing
  • Lead solution-oriented feedback sessions with internal stakeholders to identify channel blockers and pain-points across O+O and supporting functions such as supply chain, technology, media, etc
  • Create high visibility presentations with industry insights and best practice frameworks
  • Partner with Divisional and Global counterparts on identifying pilot opportunities for business growth. Manage execution of pilot programs.
  • Understand competitive landscape and white space opportunities
  • Manage the Walmart Data Ventures relationship, driving commercial priorities and identifying strategic opportunities to leverage Scintilla data and foster collaboration.
  • Serve as the Scintilla expert, advising teams on data and resource utilization to drive business growth and identify key commercial opportunities.
  • Lead the Walmart Accelerator Steering Committee to identify top use cases and business questions to answer and ideate solutions.
  • Responsible for organization, socialization, and escalation of Walmart-issues.
  • Act as the digital shelf tool expert, liaising with divisions to share best practices and develop use cases that scale insight
