The position is responsible and accountable for the Department, working closely with the appropriate chairmen and chiefs to establish and implement goals and objectives aimed at enhancing revenue and improving the quality of care. The role involves ensuring that quality nursing care is delivered to patients by collaborating with the nursing management team to define, implement, and evaluate standards of nursing practice. Additionally, the position is responsible for managing personnel, operating, and capital budgets for all assigned cost centers. Effective communication of hospital and departmental policy, philosophy, and objectives to employees within the division is essential, as well as collaboration with other disciplines and departments to achieve institutional, divisional, and unit goals and objectives.
