About The Position

Meadowood is seeking an exceptional Director of Nursing to join our leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within our 59 bed Skilled Nursing Center, an integral part of our vibrant Life Plan Community. Responsibilities include: the DON ensures the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care; maintains full regulatory compliance; advances clinical excellence; and fosters a collaborative, accountable, and performance driven culture. Requires demonstrated proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, clinical documentation tools, and general computer applications. The successful candidate will leverage data analytics, digital platforms, and emerging technologies — including AI-enabled solutions — to enhance clinical decision-making, streamline operations, and improve resident outcomes. Strong leadership skills in team development, communication, change management, and cultivating a positive, mission aligned culture are essential.

Requirements

  • Current Pennsylvania RN license required
  • Minimum of three to five years of progressive nursing leadership experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a related healthcare environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements, MDS processes, quality assurance, and evidence-based clinical practices.
