We are actively seeking a Radiology Nursing Director who thrives in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment and is passionate about delivering world-class, patient-centered care. In this high-impact leadership role, you will collaborate closely with an elite team of interventional radiologists, technologists, nurses, PAs, and NPs—a multidisciplinary group known for innovation, compassion, and clinical excellence. You will be at the forefront of advancing care in interventional radiology, ensuring seamless operations, outstanding patient outcomes, and an empowered nursing team.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required and Master's Degree in Related Field of Study required.
  • Registered Nurse [RN - State License] required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support [ACLS (AHA)] preferred.
  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] preferred.
  • 3-5 years of nursing management experience required.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong commitment to clinical excellence.
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Agency Regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Champion clinical excellence by leading strategic nursing initiatives within radiology.
  • Foster collaboration across diverse teams to drive quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing nursing staff in a culture that values respect, growth, and innovation.
  • Play a vital role in shaping the future of radiology care at an institution consistently ranked among the nation's best.
  • Evaluate and supervise staff based on mutually agreed-upon goals in job descriptions.
  • Implement strategies to enhance retention and reduce turnover.
  • Promote a safe and positive working environment.
  • Ensure that the RN supervisors/clinical care managers are aware of any updated policies and procedures.
  • Prepare departmental budget and operate department within budgetary guidelines.
  • Assign patients for day-to-day management to nursing coordinators and/or Nursing Supervisors/Managers.
