The Director, Professional Practice and Development reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. The Director oversees leaders and staff including Magnet Program Manager, Clinical Practice Specialists, and Professional Development Specialists. Additionally, this position has oversight for the conceptual model and the following programs: PTAP accreditation ANCC Magnet Recognition and other recognition programs NDNQI Quality and Nurse Satisfaction Clinical Staff/Patient Education/Needs Assessment Nursing Competency Program NM Ready/Transition into Practice Leadership/Pathways Development Nursing Annual Report/Nursing Now Academic Partnerships/Summer Extern Program Informatics Education Research/EBP Shared Governance Nursing Peer review
