About The Position

As the Director of North America Claims Operations at AIG, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how we assist our customers in managing risk. In this role, you will manage all non-technical claims aspects of operations for the North America Claims line of business. You will partner with the business leadership team and functional support teams across the Claims organization to execute business and operational strategies, driving growth and efficiencies across the enterprise. Your responsibilities will include aligning individual line of business (LOB) and geography vision with NAM Claims objectives, defining plans to drive progress and improvement, and focusing on strategic forward-thinking as the claims industry evolves. You will be tasked with fostering a culture of continuous improvement across GI Claims, engaging closely with key stakeholders and leaders to optimize processes while acknowledging the differences across LOB. Additionally, you will execute relevant GI Claims strategies set by the Claims Leadership Team (CLT) to meet core objectives, manage costs, timelines, quality, and ensure excellent customer service. Your role will also involve defining and implementing standard processes and tools to enable operational efficiencies, identifying opportunities for material improvements, and presenting actionable plans to leadership for approval. Collaboration with strategic partners, including IT, will be essential to ensure strong performance across NAM Claims and a seamless customer journey. You will assess migration opportunities across the NAM Claims platform and prioritize needs in coordination with the NAM Claims Operations Head. Furthermore, you will lead, coach, and optimize talent within your team, ensuring effective succession planning.
