About The Position

The individual in this position is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of client engagements, including advising clients on the overall management and performance of their compliance program, developing and sustaining client relationships, and developing and overseeing ACA staff. The individual will be asked to identify and assume certain leadership or management tasks. As part of the senior consulting team the individual will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the delivery of the firm’s products and services, ensuring high levels of client service and demonstrating high levels of technical competence across a wide range of areas applicable to our clients. The individual will be seen as a leader in the team and will be expected to assist in the supervision and development of less experienced members of the team and be a positive influence while reflecting ACA’s culture and values. The position will also require the holder to take ownership (with the support of US Reg Management) for the implementation of certain aspects of the firm’s strategy and growth objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 9 years of industry experience.
  • Alternatively, at least 7 years of experience that includes some combination of the following: (i) an examiner or attorney with the U.S. SEC, NFA, CFTC, FINRA or another regulatory authority or (ii) a compliance analyst or consultant with ACA or a consulting organization comparable to ACA.
  • Expert working knowledge of relevant federal securities laws and associated rules and regulatory positions thereunder (e.g., Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Investment Company Act of 1940, Securities Exchange Act of 1934, Commodity Exchange Act of 1936, Commodity Futures Trading Commission Act of 1974.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively direct all aspects of consulting work including leading project teams, preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials, and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection.
  • Dedicate time to coaching staff in their career and technical development, including in respect of client interactions and soft skills.
  • Manage assigned client relationships and projects proactively (monitoring profitability and accounts receivable) where you are the designated account owner, including responding to clients’ questions and needs in a timely and pragmatic manner and ensuring that colleagues contributing to shared accounts do the same.
  • Oversee the management of clients for which your supervisees are account owners offering a sounding board and troubleshooting capability.
  • Demonstrating a commercial awareness such that additional ACA Group services can be promoted for the benefit of clients where appropriate (via referrals to dedicated sales representatives)
  • Coordinate staffing for chaperoning calls and ensuring global coverage
  • Manage day-to-day operations with a focus on execution and delivery
  • Build clear processes and procedures to support operational efficiency
  • Support product development by collaborating with development teams to convey needs and be the bridge between delivery and delivery enablement
  • Lead a diverse global team, including training, development, and setting strategic direction
  • Drive strategic initiatives and lay the foundation for a well-trained team
  • Explore and implement AI solutions creatively to enhance operations
  • Manage client expectations and work with strategic clients to balance delivery capabilities
  • Predict staffing needs and balance workloads across managed services
  • Adapt to fluctuating client needs and juggling multiple priorities
  • Comfortable managing multiple initiatives while overseeing daily operations
  • Formally supervise, train, evaluate, oversee, and provide feedback to colleagues in a supervisory and project manager capacity. Support and lead the communication of key messages to the Compliance Division.
