The Program Director will provide leadership over all operational aspects of the MoLSAMP. The responsibilities of the director will include marketing, strategic activity coordination and planning, monitoring the Alliance and sub-award budgets, ensuring that data collection and analysis aligns with the annual goals of the Alliance, work with alliance institutions for seamless programming and activities across alliance institutions, and prepare reports for the alliance institutions, and key stakeholders in the STEM community as well as other partners of the MoLSAMP alliance. The Program Director will be the point of contact for the Alliance and will work with the Grant's principal investigator and co-investigator to ensure that the annual and overall goals of the grant are met. The Program Director will serve as the "face" of the Alliance and as such will represent the Alliance at campus, regional, state and national events to promote the work of the MoLSAMP. The Director will be responsible for the coordination of the Alliance planning, and will work with the MoLSAMP external evaluator for assessment efforts. The Program Director will coordinate with the principal investigator for the submission of annual reports to the NSF as well as sub-award annual reports. The Program Director will coordinate the annual research conference and the sophomore academic summer academy in partnership with the host alliance institution.
