The Director of Mental Health provides leadership, administration, and clinical supervision of Progress Valley’s mental health programs serving individuals with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders. This position leads the growth, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of all aspects of the outpatient mental health program. Responsibilities include program development, staffing, policies and procedures, training and compliance, quality assurance, fiscal performance, and regulatory oversight. The Director of Mental Health also develops and oversees the mental health internship program, including coordination with academic institutions and clinical supervision of internship candidates. This role represents the agency through networking, marketing, and collaboration with public and private partners while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, ethical, evidence-based services. Success is achieved through innovation, flexibility, sound management practices, strong clinical leadership, and consistent achievement of programmatic and strategic goals.
