Strategic Leadership & Team Development Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of Medical Outcome Specialsts across geographies in the US Define the strategic vision, annual priorities, and operating model for the Medical Value and Access function Establish performance management frameworks, competency models, and development pathways Foster a culture of scientific excellence and compliance, oriented to impact, not just activities. Develop training programs on payer landscape, value communication, health economics, and compliant engagement Value Tools & Evidence Translation Partner with HEOR to co-develop and refine budget impact models, cost-effectiveness analyses, and value dossiers Translate clinical trial data and real-world evidence into payer-relevant value narratives Oversee development and deployment of interactive value tools for field use Identify evidence gaps from payer interactions and feed insights into evidence generation planning Lead development of AMCP dossiers and P&T committee support materials Matrix Collaboration & Enterprise Influence Serve as the primary interface between Medical Affairs and Access/Commercial teams for scientific support Participate in strategic account planning to provide medical perspective and identify MOS engagement opportunities Communicate the value and impact of the MOS function to senior leadership Align MOS activities with MSL engagement to ensure coordinated coverage of key accounts Provide payer insights to inform brand strategy, launch planning, and evidence generation priorities External Stakeholder Engagement Cultivate relationships with national and regional payer KOLs, formulary decision-makers, and health economics thought leaders Represent the company at payer-focused congresses (AMCP, ISPOR, AHIP) Lead payer advisory boards and value-focused scientific exchanges Develop relationships with specialty pharmacy medical directors and IDN pharmacy leadership About CSL Behring CSL Behring is a global biotherapeutics leader driven by our promise to save lives. Requirements

  • Advanced degree (MS/PhD/PharmD) with relevant scientific/medical background; business experience/degree desirable
  • 10+ years' pharmaceutical/ biotherapeutics industry experience, preferably in a medical sub-specialty relevant to CSL product lines
  • Prior management experience required
  • Demonstrated experience in health outcomes liaison, medical affairs, or market access roles
  • Deep understanding of the US payer landscape: MCOs, PBMs, IDNs, ACOs, specialty pharmacies, government payers
  • Expertise in health economics: budget impact modeling, pharmacoeconomics, outcomes research methodology
  • Track record of cross-functional leadership and matrix collaboration
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels
  • Experience with PhRMA, OIG guidelines, and compliance requirements for medical/payer communications

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hematology, immunology, or rare disease therapeutic areas
  • Prior experience building or scaling a health outcomes liaison function
  • Fellowship training in health outcomes, pharmacoeconomics, or managed care
  • Publication record in health economics or outcomes research
  • Experience with specialty products and complex reimbursement pathways
