Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 8-10 years of relevant work experience
  • At least 4-5 years of relevant management work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with value-based care contract reconciliation and performance monitoring
  • Experience leveraging AI to build out medical economics performance modeling

Responsibilities

  • Set and lead the strategic vision for the medical economics function, overseeing analytics, reporting, and performance insights related to cost, quality, utilization, and outcomes.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high performing team of medical economics professionals, including hiring, performance management, succession planning, and capability development.
  • Translate complex healthcare claims and financial data into clear, executive-level insights and strategic recommendations that inform enterprise decision making.
  • Partner cross functionally (both internally and externally) with finance, clinical, operations, contracting, and growth leadership to shape and execute strategic, financial, and value-based care initiatives.
  • Provide executive oversight of value-based and risk-based contracts, including performance monitoring, reconciliation strategy, and identification of growth and margin optimization opportunities.
  • Establish and enforce standards for data integrity, analytical rigor, KPI development, and enterprise reporting, while driving continuous improvement in analytics processes, tools, governance, and stakeholder engagement and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and data governance requirements.
