The Director, Marketing Analytics is responsible for translating enterprise and brand strategy into actionable insights, forecasts, and targets that drive profitable growth. This role leads performance analytics, sales planning, and market test learning, serving as a strategic thought partner to executive leadership, marketing, finance, and field teams. The ideal candidate combines deep analytical expertise with strong business judgment, excels at executive communication, and can balance rigor with speed in a fast-paced QSR environment. This leader will own the performance narrative of the business and ensure clarity, alignment, and accountability across sales results, initiatives, and future plans. RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week out of our office in Miami, FL.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of analytics experience, preferably in marketing, digital or sales planning.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Data Visualization tools (Tableau), SQL, and statistical analysis is a must.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing high-performing analytics teams.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry experience in retail, food service, or QSR is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own brand-level performance analytics, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting of sales, traffic, check and Product mix.
  • Lead variance analysis versus plan, prior year, and key initiatives, identifying root causes and implications for leadership decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards and scorecards for the leadership team, ensuring clear storytelling and consistent definitions across the organization.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into concise, decision-oriented insights for senior executives and cross-functional partners.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales forecasting process, including daily, monthly, and annual sales forecasts, target setting, and channel distribution.
  • Develop scenario planning frameworks to assess upside, downside, and risk-based outcomes tied to initiatives, and marketing calendar changes.
  • Own forecast accuracy, continuously refining methodologies based on performance drivers, seasonality, and external factors.
  • Prepare and deliver leadership presentations that clearly articulate forecast assumptions, risks, and recommended actions.
  • Design and oversee market test and learn to evaluate new initiatives, including product innovation or promotional activity.
  • Lead test vs. control readouts, synthesizing results into clear recommendations for scale, iteration, or discontinuation.
  • Provide field-facing ad-hoc analytics to support regional teams, balancing speed with analytical rigor.
  • Act as a bridge between corporate analytics and field leadership, ensuring insights are practical, relevant, and actionable at the restaurant level.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing analytics and sales planning team.
  • Establish best practices for analytics governance, forecasting cadence, and performance reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement in tools, automation, and data visualization to increase speed to insight.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, and business ownership within the analytics function.
