About The Position

Orlando Health is seeking a Director, Market Clinical & Laboratory Resource to lead supply expense management initiatives across multiple hospitals. This role drives strategic programs for Clinical Resource Management, optimizes group purchasing contracts, and implements product standardization across the market. The Director will collaborate with executive leadership, clinicians, and physicians to execute the Supply Chain Operations plan and deliver measurable cost savings while maintaining quality and patient outcomes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Nursing, Pharmacy, or Allied Health required.
Minimum 3-5 years in hospital or healthcare operations.
3-5 years hospital management experience; multi-facility experience preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and process management skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree highly preferred.
Leadership experience (CNO, ACNO, Director) strongly preferred.
Supply chain experience from a clinical perspective preferred.
Clinical licensure or certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement market-based strategies to reduce supply expenses.
Lead initiatives focused on high-cost departments (Surgical Services, Cath Lab, EP Lab, Special Procedures).
Review and optimize contract compliance and product utilization.
Facilitate New Technology and Product committees to evaluate clinical evidence, financial impact, and standardization opportunities.
Build strong relationships with hospital leadership, physicians, and supply chain teams.
Manage a team of Clinical Resource Managers and oversee supplier management programs.
Provide effective communication and project management across stakeholders.
Support market operations during recalls, backorders, and disaster events.
