About The Position

Requirements

  • At least 5 years experience in market access/reimbursement with strong preference towards candidates with experience with in vitro diagnostics, software as a medical device, oncology, molecular diagnostics.
  • Launch-stage experience — Has received positive coverage decisions at an early or growth-stage diagnostics company, not just inherited a mature reimbursement function.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep relationships with payers are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute payer strategy across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers, building relationships with key reimbursement stakeholders.
  • Lead complex payer negotiations to secure favorable rates and terms and bring agreements to closure.
  • Own coding and payment strategy, including development of code applications and reimbursement materials.
  • Serve as a forward-looking market access leader, shaping reimbursement and access strategy for the next 12 months, 3 years, and beyond, and developing creative coding and payment models as the landscape evolves.
  • Build HEOR analyses, budget impact models, and payer value stories.
  • Create field-ready materials that help the commercial team address payer questions and support physician ordering.
