About The Position

The Director, M&A Integration at Fanatics will be responsible for designing and executing M&A integration programs to enhance the company's reach and operational efficiency. This role requires collaboration with senior executives and cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of acquisitions, focusing on both enterprise-wide transformations and customer-oriented initiatives. The position is highly visible and involves strategic planning, execution oversight, and the development of integration strategies across various business functions.

Requirements

  • 10 years of M&A Integration experience, with at least 5 years leading cross-functional M&A programs.
  • Experience with ERP implementation/remediation.
  • Experience across the entire M&A deal lifecycle.
  • Deep understanding of M&A programs and ability to navigate across leadership levels.
  • M&A integration experience across core business functions, with HR and IT experience being a plus.
  • Self-starter with a focus on execution.
  • Creative problem solver with strong business acumen.
  • Strong relationship, communication, and influencing skills at the VP/Sr. Executive levels.
  • Ability to implement M&A best practices from discovery through deal value recognition.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading M&A integration at a top-tier consulting firm or within Corporate Development.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Fanatics Inc.'s integration capability for M&A projects.
  • Work closely with the M&A team during diligence and provide strategic advice on post-close integration activities.
  • Own and evolve the M&A Integration playbook and associated assets.
  • Develop comprehensive integration strategies and cross-functional plans for M&A deals.
  • Identify key integration issues early in the deal process and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Track milestones and hold cross-functional teams accountable for execution of deliverables.
  • Prepare a quarterly Integration KPI Dashboard for executive leadership.
  • Influence business leadership to implement recommended approaches and programs.
  • Support broader M&A team on ad hoc financial and industry analysis.
