About The Position

The Director of Legal Technologies leads the strategy, implementation, and optimization of technology solutions that enable Comcast’s Corporate Legal organization to operate efficiently, securely, and at scale. This role partners closely with Legal leadership, Legal Operations, IT, and Compliance teams to modernize legal platforms, strengthen data governance, and deliver resilient, compliant, and user-centered solutions. Serving as a trusted technology partner to the Legal organization, the Director translates legal and regulatory needs into scalable technology capabilities. The role is accountable for the Legal technology portfolio, including matter management, eDiscovery, contract lifecycle management, compliance systems, and related integrations, with a strong emphasis on operational excellence, security, and continuous improvement. The Director oversees delivery, support, and lifecycle management of Legal technologies, including vendor management and service performance. Working in close collaboration with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and data teams, the role ensures Legal systems align with enterprise standards, privacy requirements, and risk management practices. The Director also collaborates with technology and legal peers across Comcast, NBCUniversal, and Sky to drive efficiencies, share best practices, and support cross-company initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a technology roadmap for the Corporate Legal organization, aligned to Legal priorities, regulatory requirements, and enterprise technology standards.
  • Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of technology solutions that enable Legal to operate efficiently, securely, and at scale.
  • Own and oversee the Legal technology portfolio, including matter management, document management, contract intake and lifecycle, eDiscovery, compliance platforms, reporting, and integrations.
  • Drive integration between Legal systems and enterprise platforms such as Workday, Salesforce, identity and access management, finance, and data platforms to enable end-to-end processes and reporting.
  • Ensure Legal technologies comply with applicable regulatory, privacy, and security standards by partnering closely with Cybersecurity, Privacy, Risk, and Compliance teams.
  • Provide operational leadership for Legal technology delivery, including system performance, incident response, upgrades, and continuous optimization.
  • Govern Legal technology architecture and standards, ensuring consistency, modernization, and alignment with enterprise architecture.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts; evaluate emerging legal technology solutions and drive proof-of-concepts where appropriate to improve efficiency, quality, and risk posture.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Legal technology professionals and external partners; foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-accountability culture.
  • Develop and manage budgets for Legal technology initiatives, including forecasting, investment prioritization, and cost optimization.
  • Establish and track performance metrics and OKRs to measure adoption, service quality, operational efficiency, and business impact.
  • Collaborate with Legal, IT, and technology peers across Comcast, NBCUniversal, and Sky to share best practices and identify opportunities for standardization and efficiency.
  • Act as a key liaison between Legal leadership, IT stakeholders, and external vendors on matters with operational, compliance, or risk implications.
  • Exercise sound judgment in decisions involving sensitive data, legal risk, regulatory exposure, and operational continuity.
