About The Position
Responsible for the quality and quantity of work performed in all areas ofâ¯Laboratory Services. Ensures laboratory practices focus on and guarantee patient safety. Responsible for specimen collection and laboratory testing performed on all patients from neonates to geriatric patients. Responsible for Tenet Healthcare Laboratory technical development, implementation and integration within areas of technical expertise, to include instrument acquisition, logistic support and laboratory information systems integration.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or related Health Science Specialty. Meets CLIA requirements for General Supervisor
- 5 years of progressive supervisory experience in an acute care facility
- Registered or registry eligible in accordance with an approved certifying agency (ASCP, NCA, AMT or equivalent) Licensure, as required by State law.
Nice To Haves
- Masters in Allied Health Specialty or Health Administration or Business.
- Lab Director experience
