Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento is the foundation of Sutter Health, Northern California's largest health network with 29 acute care hospitals, more than 5,000 primary care physicians and specialists, home health, occupational health, psychiatric care and more. The downtown Sacramento medical center is made up of several facilities that include Ose Adams Medical Pavilion, Anderson Lucchetti Women's & Children's Center, and Sutter Center for Psychiatry. Ose Adams Medical Pavilion focuses on general acute medical/surgical care as well as advanced services for cancer, orthopedics, spine, and neurology, and neurosurgery. Anderson Lucchetti Women's & Children's Center specializes in women's and children's services and includes medical intensive care units for cardiac and neurological patients. This position provides overall administrative and clinical leadership for inpatient and/or outpatient laboratory services, establishing and implementing goals, standards, and practices that guide and support patient care initiatives while ensuring high-value quality care and exceptional care experiences. The role involves developing partnerships with physicians, medical staff, and Sutter Health leaders to facilitate initiatives, resolve operational challenges, and improve processes. Additionally, the position requires collaboration with senior leadership to develop strategic plans that align with organizational goals, setting priorities, allocating resources, and establishing policies and procedures for effective patient care.
