The Opportunity: More Than a Technical Steward This is a high-impact leadership role that reports directly to the COO and works closely with other members of the executive team. The Director of IT Operations & Security will be the cornerstone of our technology infrastructure, responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our entire IT ecosystem. You will oversee our third-party IT and security vendors, manage potential internal resources, and serve as the central point for all IT strategy. As Ignite Visibility continues to scale, this role is expected to expand in scope and influence, growing into an increasingly strategic partner to the business. We are not looking for just a maintainer; we are looking for a visionary. The ideal candidate will proactively future-proof our IT and security posture, leveraging modern tools like AI to automate operations and enhance our security stance. You will be a strategic partner to the business, enabling growth by ensuring our technology scales seamlessly with our ambitious goals.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT and security roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee and manage all third-party IT and security vendor relationships, contracts, and performance (SLAs), ensuring maximum value and service quality.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of internal IT resources as the function scales.
  • Ensure the optimal performance, availability, and reliability of all core corporate IT systems and cloud-based platforms that support daily operations, including ERP, productivity, and collaboration software.
  • Manage endpoint management, network infrastructure, and identity/access management.
  • Drive IT operational excellence through process improvement, automation, and the implementation of best practices.
  • Serve as the company’s security champion, developing and maintaining a robust cybersecurity program.
  • Maintain and enhance compliance with relevant frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and others.
  • Lead incident response planning, testing, and execution. Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits.
  • Evaluate and integrate AI-powered tools for IT Ops (AIOps) and security to proactively identify issues, automate responses, and improve efficiency.
  • Partner with department heads (especially in Client Services and Media) to understand their technology needs and provide solutions that enhance productivity and security.
  • Advise on company-wide AI policies and initiatives, providing the IT and security perspective.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in IT operations and security management.
  • Proven experience overseeing and managing third-party IT vendor relationships and contracts.
  • Hands-on familiarity with core platforms like Salesforce, NetSuite, Monday, Slack, Google Workspace, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST) and a track record of maintaining compliance and cyber safety.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage vendors and direct reports effectively.
  • A strategic mindset, with the ability to translate business needs into technical strategy and vice versa.
  • Experience within a digital marketing agency, adtech, or martech environment. You understand the nuances of platform integrations, media data, and the fast-paced agency workflow.
  • Practical experience applying AI and machine learning tools to IT operations and security, with the ability to guide and support company-wide AI governance and adoption.
