Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Director, IT Infrastructure and Operations to work in our Information Technology department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule onsite located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off. You will be responsible for planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and operational services, driving IT infrastructure modernization, operational effectiveness, and supporting security compliance for the laboratory. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and security of our IT infrastructure and related systems, which support the laboratory's mission-critical scientific research and development activities. The Director will oversee a team of IT professionals, manage large-scale IT infrastructure projects, and collaborate with various departments to align IT services with the laboratory's goals. You will manage complex programs of critical impact, developing and executing strategic plans, ensuring alignment with the IT strategy and INL mission, and overseeing the delivery of a comprehensive range of IT services, from desktop support to advanced cloud computing solutions. Additionally, you will be a key member of the IT Leadership Team. You will report to the Executive Director and CIO of Information Technology.
