This job manages the Epic application team in collaboration department leadership. Manages day-to-day individual and team dynamics, work prioritization, quality, fiscal stewardship, project strategy and management of all aspects of a project life cycle. Provides mentoring and coaching associated with performance development and project management, makes decisions that influence the project on a large scale, serves as the central point of communication and coordination for project team and manages direct reports who are involved in the day-to-day operations of the project. Influences and directs internal communications and coordinates overall project needs with the vendor implementation manager and coordinator. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 8 years of related management or project leadership experience, including 3 years of supervision or management experience.
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare billing.
  • Strong partnering, coaching, mentoring, interpersonal skills and ability to remain dedicated to client service, negotiate with various parties towards a mutually acceptable business solution, and assist application staff in their respective areas.
  • Strong project and team management skills and ability to lead large, complex system integration efforts or large software application and manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong budget and schedule management skills and ability to ensure the business community is engaged in the project.
  • Problem solving and continuous improvement process skills and ability to to think clearly in complex, dynamic situations and review the progress of the project with Epic leadership.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, such as nights, evenings, weekends, and extended shifts, etc. and travel domestically.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business administration or related field.
