About The Position

The Director of Investor Relations at KinderCare Learning Companies plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's investor relations strategy and enhancing its reputation among investors and analysts. This position collaborates closely with various teams, including Corporate Finance, Corporate Communications, and Financial Reporting, to build investor confidence and effectively communicate the company's vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to present complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years in investor relations, finance, or a similar position with a medium to large sized multi-unit company.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing investor relations programs, developing relationships with investors and analysts, and leading investor communications, investor meetings, and analyst days.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEC regulations, financial reporting, and corporate governance.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our 3rd party IR team to develop and implement an effective investor relations strategy, enhancing the company's reputation and credibility among investors, analysts, and the financial community.
  • Collaborate to support investor inquiries and manage all investor communications, including earnings calls, investor presentations, and investor meetings to effectively influence outcomes.
  • Support equity research and investor relationships, fostering strong relationships with existing and potential investors and analysts to provide accurate, timely, and relevant information about the company's performance, financials, and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide insights on market activity, including insightful recommendations and guidance to senior management on investor sentiment and market positioning.
  • Synthesize internal financial data into concise and meaningful insights, using financial software and tools.
  • Prepare company's Annual Report and 10-K.
  • Maintain up to date with regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all relevant securities laws and regulations, including preparation and filing of required reports and disclosures.
