About The Position

The Director Sales and Trading TDS develops the Banks Sales, Trading, & Underwritings in New York, ensuring positions are within approved limits while maintaining and enhancing the Banks profile and market share. The role involves liaising with the Banks other operations in New York to assist in meeting the Banks objectives, ensuring strict adherence to the firms procedures, and being fully informed on market data, economic information, and key industry developments. The Director is responsible for developing and maintaining contacts with market participants and practicing and communicating bank policy information and strategy between product heads and relevant trading personnel. Compliance with TD Securities (USA) Policies, regulatory and compliance requirements is essential, ensuring that transactions are fully documented and processed accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics.
• Series 7 and 63 certifications.
• 7-10 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the Banks Sales, Trading, & Underwritings in New York.
• Liaise with other operations to meet the Banks objectives.
• Ensure strict adherence to firm procedures.
• Stay informed on market data, economic information, and industry developments.
• Develop and maintain contacts with market participants.
• Communicate bank policy information and strategy.
• Ensure compliance with TD Securities Policies and regulatory requirements.
• Document and process transactions accurately and timely.
• Align business dealings with approved Business Strategies.
