About The Position

The Director of Inventory Management at Rejuvenation is responsible for developing and executing brand financial and merchandising plans. This role focuses on maximizing sales and profits while protecting the brand through effective inventory strategies. The director will lead a team, communicate inventory positions to senior management, and identify business opportunities to enhance financial objectives. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and leadership skills to manage the inventory planning and management team effectively.

Requirements

• 10+ years of retail experience.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• 5+ years of DTC inventory planning experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute brand financial and merchandising plans.
• Communicate inventory position, budget (OTB), and financial re-forecasts to senior management.
• Identify business opportunities and implement actions to maximize financial objectives.
• Act as the principal contact with distribution centers and manufacturing facilities to ensure appropriate information flow.
• Lead recruitment, hiring, and development of staff to maximize retention.
• Review current business and take actions to maximize inventory productivity.
• Lead weekly business review updates to communicate inventory position and risk.
• Develop annual financial plans for presentation and approval by the executive committee.
• Review and forecast sales, expenses, and cost of goods, taking appropriate actions as needed.
• Manage inventory flow to ensure appropriate in-stock rates for floor sets and web launches.
