Within Capital One, the Regulatory Affairs function is a global team responsible for managing interactions with the broad set of financial services regulators who oversee Capital One, taking a holistic approach to managing regulatory relationships. The team also serves as strategic advisors to senior management about evolving regulatory policy issues and supports onsite supervision. We are seeking a Director to work in close partnership with the Vice President for International Regulatory Affairs, to architect and operationalize an enterprise-wide program designed to serve as the central hub for international regulatory activity. This role will build the foundational routines and governance structures that enable seamless connectivity between line-of-business leaders, risk functions, and global stakeholders. A successful candidate will not only manage the day-to-day coordination of complex workstreams, but will design and implement the scalable and repeatable frameworks that allow Capital One to maintain healthy, proactive relationships with international financial services regulators. As a key member of the Regulatory Affairs team, this role will also serve as the bridge between international regulators and senior management, ensuring interactions are well-managed.
