About The Position

This pivotal role will be instrumental in driving the global acceleration of L'Oréal's Aesthetic brand portfolio, specifically focusing on SkinCeuticals and SkinBetter Science. Based in our Hudson Yards, NYC office, you will leverage your expertise to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence across international markets within the medical dispensing channel. You will report directly to the AVP of International Business Development, Aesthetic Brands L'Oréal.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive Commercial Understanding: A deep understanding and hands-on experience with both B2B and B2C commercial business models, with the ability to build stakeholder value across the entire value chain of both models. You can clearly differentiate between commercial channels and understand their relevant go-to-market requirements and restrictions.
  • Advanced Business Development & Sales Expertise: Demonstrated success in identifying and securing new business opportunities and driving significant revenue growth, specifically within the medical aesthetics/clinic channel.
  • Influential Leadership Experience: While not managing a direct team, you must have experience leading and coaching directly and indirectly, with a demonstrated ability to influence and inspire non-direct reports from various functions across global teams.
  • Exceptional Cross-Functional & Intercultural Collaboration: A masterful ability to influence, align, and motivate diverse global teams and stakeholders (including Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, E-commerce, and Medical), fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Superior Communication & Negotiation Skills: Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation abilities, capable of influencing senior executives and international partners. You are highly proficient in developing clear, impactful strategies delivered effectively to senior leaders.
  • Analytical & Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in leveraging complex data and market insights to inform strategic choices, optimize performance, and drive business outcomes.
  • Results-Oriented & Entrepreneurial Drive: A proactive, self-starter mindset with a strong focus on achieving ambitious business objectives in a dynamic and fast-paced global environment.
  • International Travel: You must be available to travel internationally for meetings, market visits, and trainings as required to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of this role.
  • Fluent English is required.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Market Insights: Orchestrating comprehensive market research and competitive intelligence, translating complex data into actionable insights for DMI departments and guiding strategic decisions.
  • Global Sales Enablement: Establishing and scaling the global sales enablement function specifically within our aesthetic brands, driving operational commercial excellence and growth within the critical clinic and medical dispensing channels.
  • Medical Dispensing Expertise: Leveraging your deep expertise in medical dispensing sales to provide strategic guidance, coaching, and best practices to senior sales leaders across all international markets.
  • DMI-International Strategic Conduit: Serving as the primary strategic and operational bridge between DMI (Development, Innovation & Marketing) and our international zones/countries for all key initiatives, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
  • Global Market Leadership: Spearheading efforts to maintain SkinCeuticals's #1 market position globally, and leading the strategic worldwide rollout of SkinBetter Science, ensuring successful market entry and growth.
  • Robust Cross-Functional Collaboration: Driving strong collaboration with diverse global teams including Marketing, Education, Medical, Retail, Creative, and E-commerce to develop and implement cohesive global strategies designed to extend our leadership in the medical dispensing channel.
  • Best Practices Dissemination: Systematically identifying, documenting, and globally disseminating market best practices and actionable insights to foster continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Market Advocacy: Championing the unique needs and diverse perspectives of our global markets within DMI executive discussions, ensuring that decision-making is always market-centric.
  • Vision Articulation & Execution: Clearly articulating both your strategic vision and the necessary operational initiatives to global teams, zone leaders, and individual countries, ensuring strong alignment and flawless execution.
